Dr. Bill McNeill and Dr. Kara McCulloch combine their many years of experience with the latest in orthodontic technology to ensure the most effective orthodontic treatment in the shortest possible time.
Dr. Bill McNeill
“Orthodontics is my passion - and creating beautiful healthy smiles is my greatest reward. I love sharing patients’ excitement as they see the transformation that comes about as a result of orthodontic treatment. Most of all, I value the relationships that I have built over the years with each patient that entrusts me with their orthodontic health care.”
Dr. McNeill earned Doctor of Dental Surgery and Masters in Physical Anthropology degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. Following an internship and National Institutes of Health Fellowship at Philadelphia Children’s Hospital, Dr. McNeill completed his specialty training in the University of Washington orthodontic residency program. He subsequently combined private practice with service on the faculty of the University of Washington Department of Orthodontics, from which he retired as Professor in 1990.
Dr. McNeill has published more than 50 scientific articles and textbook chapters and has been invited to lecture and conduct continuing education courses in the United States and in foreign countries on well over 100 occasions. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and has served as President of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and as Chair of the American Association of Orthodontists Council on Scientific Affairs. An avid sailor, Dr. McNeill fulfilled his dream of offshore cruising when he took a mid-career sabbatical to spend seven years sailing along the west coasts of the United States and Mexico, through French Polynesia and the other island nations of the South Pacific, to New Zealand. In addition to skiing, road-biking, and artisanal woodturning, Dr. McNeill is active in community affairs with a particular interest in environmental conservation.

Dr. Kara McCulloch
“For me the most rewarding aspect of practice, is my daily interaction with patients; getting to know them as people and observing how their new smile contributes to their developing self-esteem and confidence. It is such a joy to be part of that experience.”
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Dr. McCulloch moved to the Pacific Northwest to pursue her graduate degree in Orthodontics from the University of Washington following dental school at the University of British Columbia. After completing Orthodontics, she joined the faculty at the University of Washington in the department of Pediatric Dentistry as a clinical professor as well as entering private practice. She has published several scientific papers and maintains an active membership in many professional societies. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
When not at the office, Dr. McCulloch likes to spend time at home with her three children and her Bernese Mountain Dog, Scout. She enjoys many activities including gourmet cooking, baking, and foraging for the “perfect pastry”. She is also an avid horse lover with a particular affinity for the equestrian sport of “three day eventing”.
